Our improved health and wellness program will focus on your personal health journey. It is designed to inform conference attendees, exhibitors and family members of registered attendees of the various aspects of health, which include physical activity, nutrition, and stress management. These interactive sessions will focus on information and solutions to help you be and feel your best.

Sunday, August 13
7:30 – 8:30 a.m. Chair Yoga
Hyatt Regency, Capitol 2, 4th Floor

This all-activity level flow yoga class is perfect for those wanting a quick way to stretch your body and relieve tension while at work, without leaving your office chair.

What to Bring and Wear: Wear light-weight, comfortable clothing with sneakers. Bring a bottle of water and a towel.

12:00  – 1:00 p.m. Time to Change “I’m So Tired!” Into “I Feel Great!” With Energy Foods and Moves
Hyatt Regency, Capitol 2, 4th Floor

It’s so common these days in our crazy busy world to feel exhausted all the time, but while there can be many reasons for it, there are also many easy steps to start gaining energy and feeling better.  In this hour we will touch on some of the reasons for our exhaustion, common myths and false solutions, and the right foods to truly help give us the energy we are after!  We will also touch on some quick “pick-me-up” moves you can do right at your desk or on break to keep your energy going all shift long!

Many people today are over-committed, overworked, stressed out and fighting just to stay above water. The thought of trying to eat healthy is left to what’s available in the drive-thru, which is usually not the healthiest of choices. This quick hour will offer some helpful hints to not only avoid the drive-thru, but make healthy a fast choice through planning and prepping, and healthful snacking options that are easy, affordable, and delicious. Diets do not work, lifestyle changes do work and create healthy living and energized bodies in the process.

Sign up in advance at the Information Booth near registration of meet us Monday evening at the Hyatt regency to participate.

Come join us for this event that will be fun for all ages. This is a great event for a chapter or committee outing or a fun way to network with colleagues.The Fun Run/Walk begins at the Hyatt Regency in the Main Lobby. A staff member from City Running Tours will be there to direct you. This is a guided 1- or 3-mile loop that will take you around the downtown Denver area, so along with getting a workout, you will be able to take in the Denver sights.

What to Bring and Wear: Wear light-weight, comfortable clothing with sneakers and a hat. Bring a bottle of water as no water will be available on the course.

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO.” The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.

What to Bring and Wear: Wear light-weight, comfortable clothing with sneakers. Bring a bottle of water and hand towel.*This class will take place on carpet.
